Roofs, gutters, and storm repairs for homes in Ephrata and Ephrata Township, from our base in Gordonville.
Ephrata sits in northern Lancaster County, and it’s part of the area we cover from Gordonville. We handle roof repair and replacement, storm damage and insurance claims, gutters, and the fascia, soffit, and trim along the roofline, for homes in the borough and out in Ephrata Township.
Water problems often show up somewhere other than where they start: a stain on a ceiling, paint peeling on the fascia, or a gutter that spills over the front steps. The roof, the gutters, and the trim behind them work as one system, so we look at all three before recommending anything. Sometimes the fix is a section of gutter and new flashing. Sometimes it’s the roof.
Every project starts with a visit to the house. We tell you plainly what we found, write the scope down before any work starts, and walk the finished job with you. After a storm, we document the damage and meet the adjuster at the house. We can’t promise what an insurer will approve, but you won’t be handling the claim alone.
Questions, answered
What to know before work begins
Do you come out to Ephrata for estimates?
Yes. We work across Lancaster County, Ephrata included. Tell us about the house when you reach out and we’ll set up a time to look at it.
My gutters overflow in heavy rain. Do I need new ones?
Not always. Overflow often comes from clogs, sagging sections, or downspouts that are too small or too few for the roof above them. We check the pitch, the hangers, and where the water goes, then tell you whether a repair will do or the run needs replacing.
Why is the wood behind my gutters rotting?
Water is getting behind the gutter, usually because the roof edge has no drip edge or the gutter has pulled away from the fascia. Left alone, it rots the fascia and can reach the roof deck. We replace the damaged wood and fix the cause, not just the board.
