Privacy Policy
What we collect when you visit this site or ask about a project, and what we do with it.
Last updated October 15, 2026
RYDGE Construction is a registered fictitious name of JMA Exteriors LLC, a Pennsylvania registered home improvement contractor (PA HIC #PA155513). In this policy, “RYDGE,” “we,” and “us” mean JMA Exteriors LLC doing business as RYDGE Construction. It covers rydgeconstruction.com and the requests you send us through it.
What we collect
When you ask about a project. The project form asks for:
- the type of project and the ZIP code of the property
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- how you’d like us to reach you
- anything else you decide to tell us in the notes
Along with the form, we record the page you sent it from, any campaign tags in the link that brought you here (such as utm_source), the date and time, your IP address, and your browser type.
When you call or email us. We keep what you tell us so we can follow up.
When you browse the site. Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you got here (a search, an ad, or a link), your device and browser type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and actions such as tapping a phone number or sending the form. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
Please keep insurance policy numbers, financial details, and documents out of the form. If we need anything like that, we’ll ask when we talk.
How we use it
- To answer your request, set up a visit, and prepare an estimate.
- If you hire us, to plan and do the work, and to handle billing, warranty questions, and the records the law requires us to keep.
- To keep spam and abuse off the form.
- To see which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can improve the site and spend our advertising sensibly.
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t add you to a marketing email list, and we don’t send text messages.
Who we share it with
We share information with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do that job:
- our website host, which stores form entries on the server that runs this site
- our email provider, which delivers your request to us and, if you gave an email address, a confirmation to you
- the project-management software where we track requests, estimates, and jobs
- Cloudflare, whose Turnstile check on the form tells people apart from automated spam
- Google, for Google Analytics and, when we advertise, to measure whether an ad led to a request
If you hire us, the trade partners and suppliers working on your project get the details they need, such as the address. If your project involves an insurance claim, we share photos and notes about the damage with your insurance company or adjuster as you direct.
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety or our legal rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years and let Google tell one visit from another. Google keeps this event data for the period set in our account, no more than 14 months. Google handles it under its own privacy policy and explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage ad personalization in My Ad Center. The site works the same without cookies.
Beyond analytics, the site doesn’t set cookies for ordinary visitors. The form’s spam check, Cloudflare Turnstile, reads signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot. Cloudflare describes this in its privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Form entries are deleted from the website automatically 12 months after they’re sent. If you don’t hire us, we keep your details elsewhere only as long as they’re useful for following up on your request. If you become a customer, we keep contracts, project records, and photos for as long as we need them for warranty service and for the business and tax records the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below. We’ll confirm who you are before we act, and we’ll respond within 45 days. We may need to keep some records, such as signed contracts, because the law requires them.
You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any time.
Security
Only the people who handle your request can see it, and the site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No way of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, which is one reason we ask you to leave sensitive details out of the form.
Children
This site is for homeowners. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Other websites
Links on this site, such as the Attorney General’s contractor registration search, lead to websites with their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If we ever want to send you marketing email or text messages, we’ll ask your permission first.
