Lititz, PA

Roofs, storm repairs, and exterior work for older homes and newer ones across Lititz and Warwick Township.

Lititz is in northern Lancaster County, a short drive from Ephrata and part of the area we cover from Gordonville. We handle roofing, storm restoration, gutters, and exterior remodeling for homes in the borough and across Warwick Township.

Many of the houses near Main Street are well over a century old. Older homes need the most care where the roof meets the chimney, the walls, and the dormers, because that’s where years of patches pile up. We look at what’s under those patches before recommending anything, and we’ll tell you when a repair makes more sense than a new roof.

If the house is in a historic district or an HOA, check what review applies before you change the roofing material, the siding, or the trim.

Every project starts with a visit to the house. We tell you plainly what we found, write the scope down before any work starts, and walk the finished job with you. After a storm, we document the damage and meet the adjuster at the house. We can’t promise what an insurer will approve, but you won’t be handling the claim alone.

Questions, answered

What to know before work begins

Can you repair my older roof instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. If the trouble is in one spot, like a chimney, a valley, or a few lifted shingles, a repair can buy years. If the wear has spread across the roof or the decking underneath is soft, a replacement is the better use of your money. We’ll show you what we found either way.

Do I need permission to change my roof or siding in Lititz?

It depends on where the house is and what you’re changing. Some properties fall under historic district rules or HOA covenants. Check with the borough or your township, and your HOA if you have one, before you commit to a new material.

Why does my chimney leak?

Most chimney leaks come from the flashing, the metal that seals the joint between the chimney and the roof, not the brick. When we replace a roof, the chimney gets new flashing rather than the old metal. Cracked mortar or a missing chimney cap can also let water in.
